He lets his pride and authority get in his mode of his judgment. Creon was stubborn and did seek change until the death of his family. later his downfall, he finds the understanding of judge. Creon is sorry for what he was done, he repents, besides it is already too late. He only finds true justice when everything he cared for was gone. Creons tragic flaw was that he was opinionated; he did not want Polynieces to be buried. He receive sevenfold warnings that this would lead to his downfall. He was put into the position of King. As well-grounded leader, you must have solid principals to fall bottom on in times of stress. He made undisputable his discourse was law. When lookout station came into the play, he said that mortal had been buried Polynieces. Creon was outraged. He began to get aggravated at Sentry. He said, Your voic e distresses me.(Scene 1-Line 49) Sentry told the king, Are you sure that it is my voice, and not your sense of right and wrong?(Scene 1-Line 150-151) Creon wanted to fill the messenger. Sentry was the bringer of bad news and told him that he is breaking the row of the Gods and ignoring the advice of the people. He blamed him and wanted to avenge Sentry for taking a bribe.
